Role Summary: Partner with business leadership to manage branding, product or services promotion, and to provide functional expertise. Participate in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. Drive customer communications program success in the areas of marketing communications, digital communications & events management. Job requires taking important decisions with business relevance or supporting business in making decisions understanding broader cross-functional implications.
Essential Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate events globally with a key focus on customer, external marketing and brand promotion. Interface with business leadership, and within communications, product management and sales functions to ensure coordinated messaging. Ability to communicate high-level concepts to senior leadership. Frequent use of coaching and development of subordinates. Develops midterm vision the own function. Contribution to the strategic plan of the larger unit (be it function or business unit).
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Events Management.
Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
