Role Summary:
The Materials Process Leader will have responsibility for driving consistent, world class material practices within the DTS Global Supply Chain.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Materials Process Leader, you will:

  • Be responsible for Inventory Management - driving turns growth, meeting Quarterly Op Plans, SMI reduction, etc via utilization of advanced planning and scheduling methodologies
  • Be responsible for Fulfillment - Driving On Time to delivery to 90% and above across assigned regions and factories
  • Work with business leadership to identify problem areas and develop a plan to drive improvement
  • Develop an overall materials plan for raw materials through finished goods to optimize inventory and fulfillment
  • Work with Lean leadership and other key stakeholders to identify and improve critical product line cycles that constrain business growth and negatively impact competitiveness
  • Train broader DTS GSC team in materials best practices
  • Establish formal and informal mentorships to build a pipeline of materials expertise for DTS and O&G GSCM at large
  • Provide Leadership and expertise on ERP projects
  • Drive consistent processes that balance system utilization and efficiency across functions
  • Be an advocate for supply chain requirements. Support SAP roll-out as applicable
  • Support Development of Global analytic and tracking tools to assist in managing assigned plants within the system
  • Utilize predictive tools to identify potential issues

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR HS diploma or equivalent with 9 years of experience in Materials Management and/or Project Management in a manufacturing environment utilizing ERP systems)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Materials Management and/or Project Management in a manufacturing environment utilizing ERP systems

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in SAP
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change
  • Strong business and analytical ability
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process
  • Proven project management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with production control systems and routines
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure and with all levels of the organizations
