Role Summary: This role is responsible for supporting the APAC Chief Growth Officer and marketing teams in the development and execution of Ad and Promotion strategies across the APAC region.
Essential Responsibilities: This position manages a dedicated A&P team focused on leveraging advertising, exhibits, collaterals/sales tools production and digital communications platforms to deliver on commercial business objectives.
The role reports functionally to the Global A&P leader for Advertising and Promotions and operationally to the APAC Chief Growth Officer.
• Develops and oversees execution of strategic Ad & Promo plans • Provides day to day support for high priority NPIs, campaigns and business initiatives. • Leverages and contemporizes digital platforms to deliver on business objectives • Provides guidance and access to resources for marketing teams working on lower level A&P projects. • Identifies proper Expert and Shared Service resources to leverage • Provides Expert and/or Shared Services teams with access to needed content • Acts as gatekeeper—determining when Market Services/Shared Service materials are ready for marketing review • Ensures compliance of all materials • Evaluates programs and reports their performance to marketing • Shares lessons learned across the team using established global processes • Works with marketing leaders to establish S2 Ad & Promo/Communications budget requirements • Monitors program success and reporting program results to marketing • Continually evaluating processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 2. 10+ years of experience in advertising/marketing 3. Self-starter, proven to be able to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams, multiple levels (including executive level) and outside vendors 4. Ability to influence, make recommendations and drive change at all levels of the company 5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 6. Proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines 7. Strong analytical and process skills 8. Excellent knowledge of Marketing Mix (Print, Digital, Events)
