Role Summary:
The Service Solutions Global Pricing Leader will be accountable for leading the pricing operation globally which includes: execution and analysis of market pricing, published rate sheet, and pricing delegation of authority structure. In this role, you will be accountable for improving price execution to drive margin improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Service Solutions Global Pricing Leader, you will:

  • Analyze and provide recommended pricing targets regionally for Field Service and Repair core work scopes
  • Own the pricing Delegation of Authority; balance commercial team empowerment with operations / P&L
  • Control the implementation of the pricing policy as the owner of the price deviation review/approval process to ensure consistent adherence to pricing strategy
  • Support deal review processes with the region’s Commercial teams and P&L functions in conjunction with Comm Ops team
  • Build price measurement process for Service Solutions
  • Coordinate post mortem reviews for wins and losses on large orders
  • Control the implementation of the pricing policy as the owner of the price deviation review/approval process to ensure consistent adherence to pricing strategy
  • Conduct quarterly price reviews with BU Leaders
  • Own the pricing waterfall analytics
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and global laws / regulations in all customer transactions
  • Partner with sales operations team to drive completion and data capture on all Win-Loss analysis globally


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, product management, pricing or finance


Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong conceptual understanding of the price share trade off and its impact on profitability
  • Demonstrated clear thinking and analytical skills, yet able to work in overall big picture setting as a strategic partner
  • Knowledge of GE Industrial Solutions product and service offerings
  • High proficiency in utilizing electronic sales tools including; Salesforce.com, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Master's Degree in Business (MBA) from an accredited college or university
  • Solid process mindset, solution focused with a proven ability to drive accountability with team and cross-functional business partners
