Role Summary:
demonstrates accountability for achieving business objectives, using a combination of his(her) own execution skills and the available resources, technologies, solutions and processes for an area or specific business segment. In this role, he(she) will utilize his(her) own experience and expertise to solve customer problems, develop and execute sales objectives for self and others, and effectively achieve short and long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Work with customers and partners to understand their challenges and needs to develop appropriate products /services and solutions;
· Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of a customer, which includes applicable Municipalities, EPCs and Industrial clients;
· Manage the Value Solution, development of processes to ensure that quality proposals are delivered within the designated time frame;
· Develop and implement actionable sales strategies across the GE Engineered Systems portfolio of product and services in the market or region under his(her) direct responsibility;
· Configure and refine Value Solutions as a part the commercial sales process;
· Identify and develop opportunities to build a sales pipeline and drive profitable volume growth in “Capital Equipment” and “Flow” business (BOO /Mobile Services, After Market Services, Indirect Channels);
· Interface with Technical Domain Leaders to leverage their expertise and create value proposition for customers;
· Utilize lean principles to continually improve the sales quote creation processes to achieve cycle time reduction through relentless focus on process and metrics;
· Provide prompt and responsive service to sales clients;
· Establish relationships and interface with commercial engineering, project management, manufacturing, sourcing, services and all other related areas, to insure solution offering is aligned with customer needs;

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related technical disciplines;
· Minimum of 8-10 years of technical sales management experience;
· Fluent (written & Spoken) in Portuguese and English; Spanish is desirable;
· Experience within Product Management, Tech Marketing and/or Field Sales will be also appreciated;

Desired Characteristics:
· Knowledge of the local water industry and applicable technologies;
· Ability to navigate through a global and regional matrix structure;
· Master’s Degree in Business Administration;
· Ability to work without “in country” direct supervision;
· Ability to prioritize multi-faceted, fast paced job tasks;
· Basic understanding of the GE product lines and offerings;
· Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams;
· Analytical ability to calculate quotes and interpret data;
· Local customer base and market experience;
· Strong oral and written communication skills;
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
