The Technical Sales Manager for Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Products will drive product opportunities, demonstration and application in South Asia region. He will develop capabilities within the organization and Channel Partners by regular training and routine product updates. He should be involved in building specification in customer organization, market mapping, opportunity analysis, long-term planning and contribute to the overall growth of the UT product line.
Serve as the primary interface between the commercial team and the customer for all technical matters ensuring that both customer and GE objectives are met.
Should have good knowledge of Non-Destructive testing products and Level-2 certified in UT Testing
Should have worked with industry environment in India and 3-5years in NDT portfolio
Open to travel for 70-80% time.
Manage existing products and introduce new products, ability to conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations
Participate and support the Sales Team and Channel Partner in negotiation discussions with customers
Work closely with the factory to provide feedback on the regional needs and also update the team on the new developments.
Customer Issue resolution
Handle special projects and assignments as required
Provide functional direction to supporting personnel; apply knowledge of product support to identify and solve any current or potential problems
Monitor special programs and initiatives; coordinate both internally and externally with the customer.
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum 3-years’ NDT experience with Level-2 in UT Testing.
Good understanding of the region and Inspection customers.
Proficiency in basic computer software usage like, Word, Excel
Strong performance track record and focus on results
Highly motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver on deadlines
