Role Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing the installation process, from IT planning to training/marketing coordination, and installation resources for GE Mammography portfolio and Tomosynthesis (SenoClaire and Pristina 2D/3D) installations that range from simple to very complex implementations. This cycle includes working with clients and across functions with GE Healthcare employees to plan and execute projects on schedule.

Essential Responsibilities:
• This role covers the US and is a remote opportunity requiring travel at 25% or less to meet with install teams / customers.
• Facilitating and coordinating, as well as tracking, of day-to- day activities required to ensure the Mammo/Tomo installations are completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals.
• Understand the Mammo, IDI/SenoIris Workstation workflow technology including customized user workflows, and third party interfaces such as PACS/RIS/HIS, etc. integrations.
• Plan, with customer IT experts, the data transmissions, network requirements, IT ports, and PACS archiving configuration needed for a successful Mammo/Tomo data workflow to read, distribute and archive Mammo exams.
• Refine Mammo/Tomo installation process, to include customer communication, internal and external meetings, and planning documents.
• Create network maps of installations and customer facing materials to support installation planning.
• Writing program plans for assigned projects, which include clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities cross-functionally within GE and externally with the customer.
• Develop this process within a Project Management Information System and toolsets, to support reporting, milestones and manufacturing demand.
• Managing client expectations of product, installation timeline, and services. Coordinating with the Breast Imaging sales/commercial teams as needed prior to quoting to discuss the program requirements and implementation needs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Communicating all of the requirements and commitments (both verbally and in writing) for each project with clients, GEHC staff and management.
• Maintaining alignment between the project team and external resources.
• Providing leadership and direction for clients and GEHC personnel responsible for the project.
• Acting as an effective team leader for all matrixed staff.
• Adopting a proactive approach to identify risks to project success and create and maintain a project risk log; develop effective action plans for resolution as early as possible.
• Maintaining accurate list of customer deliveries with an up to date priority list
• Drive sales/installation processes simplification and best practices sharing
• Develop metrics to measure progress to make tools more effective and to make employees more efficient.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Field or Information Technologies.
• Prior experience in project management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Proficient in the soft skills necessary to be an effective project manager.
• Proven leadership and effective decision-making capabilities.
• Proven project management experience in complex environments.
• Ability to monitor and manages critical path elements of consolidated projects.
• Ability to manage all aspects of customer service, customer satisfaction, and contractual commitments.
• Ability to make formal presentations (internal and external).

Desired Characteristics:
• PMI certification is a plus

• Prior relevant experience in healthcare IT / Radiology PACS.
