Role Summary: The Finance Intern will be responsible to support HQ Finance Team to drive financial coordination across the Global Finance Teams. In this role, you will be part of strategic financial approach and the execution plan. You will be working directly with regional teams and help them to build an execution plan to reach-out the financial targets. This job requires well organized working manner and strong communication skills.
Essential Responsibilities: All internships will require completion of a mutually agreeable project and support for the team's daily operations. The following are general areas of responsibilities/functions that may arise during your internship
Prepare and post IBS journal entries
Support quarter close by managing large data sets pulled from financial systems
Perform reconciliations on current and past quarters
Consolidate billing numbers from other regions and team and prepare a tracking file for each business
Support internal simplification project
Prepare and post journal entries
Consolidate monthly global migration project tracking number and publish together with variance analysis
Run the score cards by region by product for financial planning cycle
Must be a full-time, matriculated student at an accredited college or university for the entire internship
Minimum be a Senior or in Graduate School with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must commit to one year (no summer internships)
Must meet minimum hour requirements:
20 hours per week while school is in session
40 hours work week while school is not in session
Must be authorized to work in the US
Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) (the role requires advance level Excel skills!)
Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
Ability to learn fast
Desire to learn and achieve
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment for a matrix organization
