Role Summary: Channel Sales will own and deliver financial performance for public utilities accounts and distributor indirect sales throughout the Southwest power equipment segment.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Senior Account Sales Manager, you will:
Identify potential channels in primary territory including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, North Dakota and South Dakota
Create proposals and pricing elements for customers, using Salesforce.com (SFDC) tool to enter sales lead, determine forecast, and manage pipeline
Review and analyze data for sales forecast, reporting / tracking metrics towards plans
Recruit, qualify, and facilitate channels through appointment process gaining necessary approvals and Profit and Loss (P&L) support
Recruit, retain, and grow Channel Partner capabilities to set annual business plans, forecast, follow up, and execute on plans
Train representatives and evaluate channel effectiveness
Develop and manage relationships with channels and end user sales team
Provide transnational support
Introduce corporate programs and commitments
Lead resolution development efforts to best address end-customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary parties
Drive a joint partner sales planning process with multiple P&S
Assess, clarify, and validate channel partner needs on an on-going basis
Address partner related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner
Assist in partner marketing activities such as trade shows and other promotional activities
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of related Sales or Product and Project Management experience
Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% in the Western region of the U.S. including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon and Washington
Ability and willingness to work remotely and be based out of home office located in California

Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Experience with using SFDC tool to enter sales lead, determine forecast, and manage pipeline; creating proposals and pricing elements for customers
Experience reviewing and analyzing data for sales forecast, reporting / tracking metrics towards plan recruiting, retaining, and growing Channel Partner
Capabilities to set annual business plans, forecast, follow up, and execute plans
