The VP - Enterprise Identity & Access Management Solutions will report to CTO , Technology Compliance & Security - GE DIgital. They will be a critical technology leader in defining and driving our Identity & Access Management strategy for our employee and enterprise solutions. In this role, you will provide leadership to the implementation of leading-edge technologies to position the organization for success & improving efficiency, increasing security posture, and supporting growth of GE’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program & Products
As our new VP - Enterprise Identity & Access Management Solutions you will:
Design, build, and integrate identity and access management solutions using commercial and open source technologies\\ Deliver and manage large, complex Identity and Access Management products in the areas of Provisioning/De-provisioning, Directory Services, Highly Privileged Accounts, Access Governance, Single Sign-On, Analytics, and API Management.
Serve as the subject matter expert in identity management,
Working with application and business teams, create solutions and authentication/authorization frameworks which enable business teams to move quickly in a secure & compliant manner
Provide regular metrics and reporting to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the services, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the overall maturity of our Identity & Access management products & capabilities.
Routinely collaborate with other stakeholders across the enterprise, including cybersecurity & technology risk, application security, and security software engineering to defend our enterprise.
Collaborate with other functions including Audit, Legal, Compliance, & Privacy, to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture.
Collaborate with the business unit Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and the Digital Cybersecurity and Technology Risk teams to ensure Compliance, & Regulatory are being met.
Drive hands-on technical leadership and execution as appropriate to ensure IAM products are supported and delivered to meet expectations Execute team management activities focused on employee recruiting, development, performance management, compensation and leadership
Assess, define and execute talent transformation plan focusing on technical talent growth, insourcing critical skillsets, talent recruitment, alignment and growth, in partnership with broader CoreTech Solutions strategy
Execute organizational oversight, aligning team for successful delivery and partnership with technology and business leaders
Manage product budgets and partner with product leaders & managers to maintain, analyze, adjust and plan as needed to meet commitments
Lead and actively participate in defined operating rhythms focused on proactive product reviews for Identity & Access Management product suite, including critical dependent products and programs
Major personal performance objectives for this role in the first 12 months are:
Organization skill and capability assessment completed and turned into resource plan with critical skill gaps hired
Defined product and technology roadmap for enterprise identity solutions
IDM solution simplification and stabilization
Product solutions implemented for automated access reviews
Bachelor’s Degree in a “STEM” major or related field, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 12 years’ work experience including 7+ years’ experience in Information Technology and 5 + years of leading people and teams
A minimum of 5 years’ experience of strong Identity & Access Management technical security knowledge/expertise
