Role Summary: Drives truck to transport turbochargers and/or related materials to and from specified destinations by performing the following duties.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Part-Time Driver, you will:
Drive truck to destination
Utilize the safest and most direct routes
Collect documentation for goods delivered and/or picked up for transport
Maintain truck log, per state and federal regulations
Maintain proper documents and paperwork required by DOT and the company
Maintain contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
Report all motor vehicle violations as they occur
Properly loads, secures cargo for transit per DOT regulations and properly unloads at destination
Performs pre-and post-vehicle Inspections
Record and report any issues to the supervisor
Be responsible for inspection which includes but not limited to the truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
Report emergencies including accidents and/or breakdowns to supervisor as soon as possible
Properly secures cargo for transit per DOT standards and regulations
High school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 3 years of experience in operating commercial vehicles (flatbed) in an over the road capacity
Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

Meet all DOT requirements and company standards
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions cold and heat
Regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance
