Role Summary: The Principal Technical Product Manager, Portfolio Management Office will manage the portfolio of strategic initiatives across the organization, ensuring timely rigor of product management methodologies and delivery of outcomes. This individual will collaborate with Product Managers, Employee Experience Leaders and functional stakeholders to provide visibility into our portfolio, coordinate product releases and ensure we meet our deliverables.
Essential Responsibilities: The Principal Technical Product Manager, Portfolio Management Office is responsible for performing day-to-day management of initiatives designed to improve our capabilities and operating model. This includes coordinating across multiple product teams across the Global Function’s portfolio.
Organize, prioritize, direct, and coordinate planning of activities and deliverables across the Global Function’s organization.
Accountable for developing and supporting product plans supporting the execution of our strategic roadmaps.
Develop models to measure value of product delivery and reporting back to stakeholders.
Ensure product activities stay on track and deliverables are completed on time.
Accountable for reporting work stream status and escalating issues, risks, dependencies, and requests.
Drive day-to-day execution of product roadmaps to ensure activity plans remain relevant and are being executed effectively to realize synergies.
Prepare product status reports and conduct meetings to update key stakeholders regularly on progress, risks, issues, and recommended solutions.
Implement a product management planning tool and deploy across the organization.
Responsible for all acquisition/divesture planning across Global Functions.
Work with the finance team to manage the budget for the organization - including the full cycle of budgeting, actual tracking and follow ups with team leaders.
Bachelor’s Degree in a “STEM” major or related field, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in software/IT industry
At least 4 years experience, but typically 7+ years, in Product Management

Strong understanding of critical project management concepts such as activity plans, milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting
Experience in managing high value, complex products in a matrix environment
Ability to work across all function, persuade and influence internal stakeholders critical to product success
Excellent communication skills
Highly organization with strong attention to details
MBA/Master’s degree in a technical field
Experience working with customers to develop solutions
Sells and improves the Program/Product Management process, its outcome and ongoing results
Uses critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help leaders and leadership teams resolve issues and define solutions
