Responsible for engaging, educating and evangelizing the Model Based Enterprise (MBE) vision with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain leaders as they work together to identify high value MBE Projects. Then leading the MBE team to successfully deploy common MBE Products and applications in a manner which will help transform GE’s Digital Solutions Oil and Gas Businesses into a Digital Industrial Leader.
In this role, your focus will be to support Digital Solutions:
Develop and Drive Professional Services Account Coordination – Aggressively develop and drive a sustainable commercial strategy across multiple customer divisions and region that is aligned to the agreed account goals
MBE Production Deployments that integrates 3D Design and Model Based Definition (MBD) Practices with automated Model Based Enterprise (MBE) Manufacturing, Supply Channel and Customer Requirements practices.
Identifying high value (high productivity) MBE deployment opportunities within our Product Company Engineering, Design and Manufacturing facilities.
Delivering this high value on time and within budget through exemplary Program deployment and Program management
Working closely with Product Company Leaders in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Channel and Commercial operations to harmonize and coordinate the MBE Strategy with other Digital Thread Strategies underway at each Product Company.
Actively participate in the horizontally migration of successfully deployed MBE use cases to maximize productivity improvements and Product Company Transformation into a Digital Industrial Leader.
Accelerating the delivery of the MBE vision through world class Program Management and attention to Production Customer Satisfaction.
Working with our MBE Product Management Team and our Product Company Leaders to coordinate and align our Product Releases and Road Maps to align with the Digital Transformation objectives of each Product Company.
Building a Pipeline of “Next-up” high value MBE deployment Projects within our Product Companies to rapidly leverage past deployment successes into future productivity gains.
Support our PC MBE Leaders in their quest to build up their pipeline high value MBE deployment Projects and help them leverage past deployment successes into future productivity gains.
Acting as the main conduit between Product Company Leaders and HQ MBE Leaders so each side has a complete and intimate understanding of the Product Company Digital Thread Vision and how the MBE Strategy supports that Digital Thread Vision.
Provide timely education to PC Leaders on MBE deployments, best practices and MBE issues discovered within other GE businesses, and other MBE industry leading companies.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Research or similar technical degree.
Will have a minimum of 7 years of experience with Digital Engineering, Digital Manufacturing or Connected Supplier Management fields such as is made possible through CAD/PLM, MES/ERP or SCM technology stacks.
Will have a minimum of 5 years of leadership/management experience relating to Product Marketing or Product Management in one of the digital thread technology pillars (CAD/PLM, MES/ERP or SCM).

Will challenge the status quo in Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Channel and advocate for Digital Transformation.
Works with individuals across the GE businesses on how to use Big Data to collect and analyze market information as well as how to present analysis and recommendations to drive strategic commercial decisions; Asked by C-level business leaders to review market data and make recommendations that lead to comprehensive and rapid decisions that impact overall business strategy.
Effectively manages and possesses working industry knowledge and skillset (of self or others) in assigned vertical; Utilizes industry knowledge and skillsets to support an industry relevant line of questioning and resultant problem solving definition; recommends decisions that inform commercial growth strategies.
Leads the implementation of economic value selling throughout customer organization; Offers assistance and input to others across GE on this topic.
Coaches and mentor’s others on how to collect, analyze, and share information about market trends and competitors to increase customer retention and attract new business; Proactively identifies trends via data analysis and makes strategic recommendations as appropriate.
Utilizes customer’s feedback or current top objectives to form a comprehensive understanding of the customers’ needs; Communicates multiple reference stories or trends with supporting data; Demonstrates effective time management in preparation for conversations/ discovery process.
Viewed as a thought leader by strategic customers, invited to advise customers based on GE solution knowledge and industry/vertical expertise; Brokers introductions and relationship handoffs with customer C-Suite to other GE team members.
Able to consistently lead the process to develop winnable strategies; Creatively uses resources to anticipate and solve problems, resulting in innovative solutions that result in customer and GE satisfaction, and finds alternatives beyond the obvious; Keeps a broad perspective on the customer relationship and potential opportunities to increase customer loyalty.
