Role Summary: Role will be responsible for the accounting and reporting associated with Healthcare Equipment Finance and Industrial Financing Solutions. The role will involve review of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting and participation in a variety of controllership initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day accounting for Healthcare Equipment Finance and Industrial Financing Solutions. Ensure proper accounting and controls in area of focus (i.e. external reporting, cash settlement, client management, closing & reporting). Identify controllership simplification and process improvement opportunities. Prepare and review account reconciliations and execute on quarterly close tasks. Coordinate with controllership, finance and operations teams.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 2 years of finance or accounting experience. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desired Characteristics: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Financial services industry experience. Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
