Role Summary: Leads, plans, coordinates & manages all marketing elements for segment, including voice of customer gathering and marketing plan development. Formulates a targeted value proposition and tailors the marketing mix for the segment. Creates an outcome based solutions marketing strategy. Identifies growth opportunities and creates complete value propositions meeting customer needs. Guides the solutions road map development and creates/implements marketing plans to drive share growth in segment.
Essential Responsibilities: • Helps build and drive GE Healthcare solutions story and thought leadership focused on high impact customer outcomes • Drives the use of market research to identify opportunities and segment trends, integrates competitive intelligence into marketing planning by assessing competitor portfolios and growth strategies • Works with product & service marketing teams and care area marketing (e.g. radiology, cardiology) to drive growth programs and strategies for the segment • Understands customer’s clinical, operational and financial needs, as well as values and benefits sought, and prioritizes customer segment and business opportunities in conjunction with functional and modality leadership, leading to needs-based segmentation and go-to-market plans • Develops regional marketing strategy, value proposition and solutions positioning • Identifies external resources/partners (including GE Corporate) to contribute to integrated customer solutions • Facilitates innovative total customer offering development to ensure customer success • Generate and aggregate evidence to support GE Healthcare’s value proposition • Responsible for marketing sign-off for promotional materials for the segment. • Supports Strategic Accounts commercial teams in pursuit of deal-based success, positive customer relationships and leads facilitation of customer engagement with GE leadership. • Work with other US/Canada marketing teams to drive consistent execution and sharing of best practices across the region.
Qualifications / Requirements Quality Specific Goals: • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field • 8+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field • Ability to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy • Strong influencing skills • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills • Strong analytical and process skills
Desired Characteristics: • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field • 10+ years experience in marketing, product marketing or related field • Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding • Healthcare product/industry acumen • Peripheral vision to nurture creative ideas and innovation • Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports • Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
