The Engineer provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning to carryout detail design and engineering of Heat Exchanger product(s) e.g. water surface condenser and feed water heaters.
The Product Engineer - Heat Exchanger is responsible for his product(s) e.g. water surface condenser and feed water heaters :
> Execute, with guidance from senior engineering resources, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to define and support assigned components, assemblies or systems that meet business standards and program / product requirements,
> Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers,
> Plan design and documentation activities in consultation with Lead Engineer and Team Leader,
> Review the tender data and carryout thermal calculations to execute thermal design using authorized design tools,
> Interact with all interface agencies such as process, piping, layout, other products to ensure project specific design,
> Carryout mechanical design of equipment and it’s component using specified materials and procedures specified in applicable & acceptable standards,
> Generate thermal and mechanical documents as per project requirement,
> Document and communicate results of technical data generated,
> Develop and finalise detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings using referred practices, drafting and modeling tools (CATIA 3D),
> Generation of documents for other agencies such as procurement & logistics, site construction, as required by them,
> Regular monitor the progress and share criticality with Lead Engineer and Team Leader,
> Supporting the Project Engineering Management and other Lead Engineer in the Engineering process,
> Support erection & commissioning team in resolving site queries & site NCR related to Heat Exchanger equipment,
> Interact with fabricators / factories for translating product design / manufacturing documents into finished product and handling of DCRs / NCRs.

Educational Requirements :
> Mechanical Engineer degree.
> English fluent,
> Proficiency in French, German may be helpful (not mandatory).
Knowledge / Experience :
> 4+ years of experience in engineering activities for Power Plant equipment (preferably Heat Exchanger products e.g. water surface condenser and feed water heaters),
> Knowledge of Stress Mechanics, Mechanical Codes and Material Standard (EN13345, ASME, HEI, TEMA, AD-M, CODAP),
> Knowledge of commercial software tool Microprotol, PV-Elite, HTRI, CATIA, TEMA,
> Fully conversant with drafting office practices and process of manufacturing drawing / document deliverable.
> Strong knowledge of Heat Exchanger products (Condenser, Deaerator and Feed Water Heaters),
> Experience in manufacturing techniques of heat exchangers and pressure vessels,
> Overall understanding of the Engineering process.
