Role Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team of co-workers on the Painting and Blasting of Micro-LNG refineries and similar equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Paint Department Shop Lead - 2nd shift, you will:

  • Lead a team of co-workers in the painting and blasting operations
  • Ensure co-workers work safely and follow company safety policies
  • Ensure co-workers voucher accurately on product they work on
  • Ensure co-workers complete work to the quality standards defined by the company
  • Assist workers with questions they may have regarding painting and grit blasting techniques
  • Inspect workmanship of painted structures
  • Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems
  • Read and understand diagrams and blueprints

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution (OR Minimum of 6 years of manufacturing experience, in lieu of education)
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Work 2nd shift
  • Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
  • Climb skids
  • Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
  • Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Use close vision, distance vision, and color vision
  • Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
  • Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
  • Stand for long periods of time, as required
