Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/product/solution, less complex GE business, GE sub-business, large P&L, critical long cycle product, or ownership of large and/or complex functional product(s) within the platform.
Developing a set of Common MBE Applications that can be deployed across all of GE O&G Businesses worldwide.
Develop a Common PLM driven MBE Infrastructure which will provide robust and efficient 3D CAD & MBD transformation into high value and easy to consume automated MBE Processes.
Providing 3D MBD/MBE in context Processes and Process documents which will allow released 3D CAD + MBD models to become the Design Intent Master instead of 2D Paper Based Drawings as the Design intent master.
Developing 3D MBE Process Templates (in HTML & 3D PDF) to convey 3D Design Intent in a manner that is readily understandable and usable by downstream non-Engineering users of that data.
Developing the required MBE Integrations to PLM, ERP, MES and CRM to gather and generate the “Complete Product Definition” usable by Manufacturing, Suppliers and Customers.
Releasing to our Product Company Customers well tested 3D MBE use cases in an on-time and high quality manner.
Releasing to our IT Organization stabilized MBE Infrastructure and Applications which have been fully tested and accepted by our Product Company Customers for their subsequent Level 2 and Level 3 Support.
Train IT on Released MBE Infrastructure and Applications
Working with our MBE Product Management team, will establish an Agile-Sprint development process which will generate high value customer specific capabilities with accelerated development cycle times.
Will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
Will have at least 10+ years leading a team of software developers and systems and enterprise architects from Product inception to Product Delivery and customer acceptance

Have a unique perspective of the customer’s business and can discuss in robust dialog the value of MBE deployment for the transformation of the Product Company business.
Will challenge the status quo in Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Channel and advocate for Digital Transformation.
Will be fully familiar and comfortable with PLM System’s and Systems Architecture and the ability to integrate MBE Use cases into that Architecture.
Will have a complete understanding of PLM Workflow technology and its ability to drive automation.
Will have established a DEVOPs environment based on Agile-Scrum and or other Agile software development methodologies.
Will have 5+ years’ knowledge of 3D CAD practices and Model Based Definition.
Will have had experience with one or more the major PLM vendor’s platforms (TC, WC, Enovia and/or SAP) both the Applications and the System’s Architecture.
Will have demonstrated a minimum of 5 years leading the development of enterprise wide software technology like CAD/PLM, MES/ERP or Supply Chain Management software.
Works with individuals across the GE businesses on how to use Big Data to collect and analyze market information as well as how to present analysis and recommendations to drive strategic commercial decisions; Asked by C-level business leaders to review market data and make recommendations that lead to comprehensive and rapid decisions that impact overall business strategy.
Leads the implementation of economic value selling throughout customer organization; Offers assistance and input to others across GE on this topic.
Coaches and mentor’s others on how to collect, analyze, and share information about market trends and competitors to increase customer retention and attract new business; Proactively identifies trends via data analysis and makes strategic recommendations as appropriate.
Utilizes customer’s feedback or current top objectives to form a comprehensive understanding of the customers’ needs; Communicates multiple reference stories or trends with supporting data; Demonstrates effective time management in preparation for conversations/ discovery process.
