Role Summary:
This role connects with Marketing and Business Partners to develop and drive Ad & Promotion strategies for region/product marketing programs leveraging advertising, exhibits, collateral/sales tools production and digital communications platforms. Coordinates with Experts & Shared Services to deliver on marketing objectives by developing and executing programs. Evaluates program performance including a seamless and integrated program roll-out for defined geography in line with the Marketing Plan.

Essential Responsibilities:
Executes exhibits and event programs, ensuring consistency across all P&Ls/Regions.
Works with Ad & Promo team; coordinates with Shared Services to execute local events. Provides
planning, shipping, coordination, staging and logistics support, and tracking metrics for events.
For exhibits, provides guidance for planning, shipping, installation, dismantlement, material
storage/maintenance, and show metrics. Owns input to global calendar of shows; ensures exhibit
plans are optimized globally.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Implementing high level events and/or exhibit standards
2. Providing vendor selection guidance
3. Determining best materials and technologies to use
4. Sharing best practices across teams
5. Providing input to the global events and/or exhibits calendar
6. Keeping events and/or exhibits teams current with latest trends

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to) specific to Events:
1. Developing event plan including venue selection
2. Purchasing and budgeting tracking
3. Developing showcase plan in coordination with Ad/Promo teams-manage showcase upkeep
4. Measure performance of showcases

Key responsibilities includes (but not limited to) specific to Exhibits:
1. Developing common floor plan templates
2. Developing show planning templates
3. Helping exhibits shared services to evaluate their work and modify plans
4. Developing tiered exhibits strategy to lesson dependence on legacy style executions

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Bachelors Degree of Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
required
2. 5+ years’ experience planning and implementing trade shows/events and a demonstrated track
record of developing award-winning trade shows
3. Experience with audience engagement
4. Proven communications skills, both verbal and written
5. Proven organizational, project, and planning skills
6. Budget management
7. Ability to interface effectively with all team levels (including executive)

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality
Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job
type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as
required

Desired Characteristics:
1. Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
2. 7+ years’ experience planning and implementing trade shows/events and a demonstrated track
record of developing award-winning trade shows
3. Experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals would be a plus
4. CTSM (Certified Trade Show Manager) certification
5. Experience in working with diverse global teams and directing multiple vendors
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
7. Basic design/engineering skills
