Role Summary: The Sales Specialist - Production Solutions will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. The position requires a familiarity of equipment and services needed to bring and keep wells on production. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives that will affect short-term and some long-term business goals. Customer facing responsible for winning business.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Sales Specialist - Production Solutions you will:
Be responsible for multiple customers in all aspects of account growth including strategy development, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, and value communication
Be responsible for the effective and profitable sales in an assigned territory
Be responsible for growth of new accounts as well as focus on maintaining existing accounts
Work with current customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs
Serve as an intermediary for solutions detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer
Actively participate in community events with the customer
Interface primarily with assigned external customers for all matters concerning sales of new equipment and service, parts, inside sales, and total support, ensuring that both customer and GE objectives are met
Assume overall responsibility for customer satisfaction
Clearly define and communicate problems as perceived by the customer
Develop and maintain complete knowledge of current catalogue of products and continue to expand knowledge as new products are released
Develop and maintain a customer preference relationship toward GE
Screen and analyze customer order practices looking for trends and unusual order practices
Provide liaison between Quality, Operations, and Engineering to resolve product field issues
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 4 years of experience in a Sales and/or Sales support experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Origination
Experience in the oil and gas industry with In-depth knowledge of artificial lift markets and customers in Permian region
Experience with CSM (Customer Service Management)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
