Take part in office and supply chain related digitization development projects;
GE has confirmed it is exploring options for selling the Water & Process Technologies business. The plan to divest the business is a strategic decision that provides an opportunity to reposition the business for growth and further invest for long-term success. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.
This role is focusing on digitization developments for HU Water sites. Data Analyst is responsible to initiate and coordinate office and manufacturing area related digitization processes in harmonization with the organisation priorities and strategy. Playing key role in transforming end-user development need to IT language, serve as a mediater within different departments and IT.
Idea generation on cost saving opportunities - and process simplification;
Idea generation and project manager function on Business Process Development;
Coordination role in business process development – collect people within organisation with technical interest – use them in project execution, organise knowledge sharing forum for them – work on setting-up digitized mindset with colleagues;
Process oriented approach – fix dropped or missing processes;
Open - minded approach to learn supply chain processes before changing them;
Learn and practice IT basic language – become mediater between supply chain functions and IT/programmer; between end-user and IT/programmer;
Prepare display designs related to development projects, learn and practice display components usage in programming;
Development projects documentation, flow charts preparation about the concepts;
Self-initiated studies to understand IT programmers language and be able to work on end-user need documentation for system designs; close contact with IT;
Change management on the areas effected with the development – ensure end-user acceptance; play key role in testing and in post-go-live support.
Strong experience in supply chain – IT, manufacturing, logistics, finance, Project Mamagement or any relevant departments;
Process oriented thinking;
Advanced MS office user;
Experience in system implementations, participating and leading development projects, system implementation projects;
Project management experience;
Good English knowledge (both oral and written)
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Strong problem solving skills.
