Role Summary:
As a Staff Lifecycle Operations Engineer, you are responsible for operational management of the facilities located in Buckhead GA and delivering continuous availability for GE services hosted in this location. You will focus on ensuring GE compliance to standards process essential to this site. You will also work with a global team to develop enterprise wide processes and procedures that guarantee consistent service is delivered in the data center environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Day to day building and office operational functions.
  • Provide strong leadership to the building maintenance team.
  • Focus on office security and crisis management.
  • Hold team accountable for delivering solutions to customer.
  • Implement industry best practices while focusing on productivity and optimization of Infrastructure.
  • Engage, leverage, and drive simplified processes.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content.
  • Must be able to work in high stress situations and provide support a 24x7 team.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information management or other technical IT field. OR in lieu of a degree: a HS diploma/GED and a minimum 5 years of IT experience or equivalent military experience/ training
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a large-scale IT environment. Including vendor performance management, ITIL process usage, relationship
    management, change management and a strong understanding of project management methodologies.

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Must be willing to work out of Atlanta or Alpharetta

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong analytic skills to help with predictive analysis across the organization.
  • Possesses understanding of core business processes and preparing financials to obtain project approval.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Broad knowledge of IT disciplines including compute, network and storage platforms.
  • Strong Project management skills.
  • EHS and crisis management experience or awareness.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and drive accountability within the team.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Customer focused with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills: strong problem solving skills; communicates in a clear and succinct manner.
