Role Summary: The Senior Sales Staff Manager will be responsible for establishing and implementing the commercial strategy for the turboprop business. S/he will focus on driving growth and ensuring integrated commercial success. The SSM will own the customer interface across the sales teams making sure all the functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objective.
Essential Responsibilities: The SSM works cross functionally across the organization and understands the workings of every potential lever of growth. Reporting to the President of the company, this position has the ability to influence and shape the entire organization.
Develops vision for an important market on the level of a product line with a long term perspective.
Develop and execute the business’ sales and growth strategies.
Support client advocacy and building effective customer relationships.
Lead all sales management functions.
Drive market development and industry stakeholder alignment.
Solid experience in a senior leadership position with proven functional expertise in sales, marketing, strategy and/or product development.
Experience in a global B2B technology business where product development is a key driver; domain expertise and experience within aviation is preferred.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required (or equivalent in knowledge/experience).
Significant experience interfacing with customers either in sales roles or as influential participants in the customer relationship management and/or selling process; s/he will have the capability to shape complex deals.
Strong executive presence with a proven track record of aligning and leading a team along a vision.
