Role Summary:
The Maintenance Engineer reports to the Facility & Maintenance Manager and is responsible for support the department Activity in tooling design and execution supervision within the Service Center

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of offer requests and to the technical documentation related these
  • Preparation of technical proposals related to tooling
  • Analyze the Contractual documentation and Defines the requirements for Tooling
  • Execute design activities for Tooling
  • Elaborate Technological Descriptions (manufacturing technology)
  • Elaborate in PowerMax all necessary documents and performs all the necessary actions related to Tooling
  • Follow the production execution of tooling
  • Follow the contractor activities – when tooling manufacturing is outsourced
  • Technical support for Tooling homologation or for the processes that involve designed tooling
  • Design of transportation cases for products
  • Comply with all operational rules and procedures

    Additional Responsibilities


  • Design (new / according to the model) necessary parts for repairs works
  • Support LEAN improvement actions
  • Support RCA's and implementation of effective CAPA plans
  • Support EHS's corrective action implementation


Qualifications/Requirements:

    Required Competencies


  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics / Engineering and Management of Technological Systems
  • Experience in MS Office tools
  • Experience in CAD 2D/3D: AutoCad, Inventor, CATIA
  • Communicative English language
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct within defined responsibilities
  • team player


Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in PowerMax
  • French language
  • Knowledge of Lean and/or alternative continuous improvement methods
  • Knowledge of RCA and CAPA tools such as Fishbone / 5-why analysis
