Role Summary: GE Power has a multi-year ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) program to get 3 of the largest business units – Power Services, Gas Power Systems and Steam Power Systems onto a single SAP (Systems Applications and Products) ERP platform. The resulting ERP platform will be the largest in GE and will host approximately 40% of overall GE revenue with over 60,000 users. SAP is currently deployed in various locations with an aggressive plan to scale globally.
Essential Responsibilities: The Senior Director, SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) PMO (Program Management Organization) will drive successful delivery of SAP ERP projects. You will be responsible to provide management insight and facilitate decision making process by working directly with the executive leadership team. In this role, you will have ownership of the Portfolio Management, Demand & Capacity, Integrated Planning, Risks / Actions / Issues / Decision Management, Financial Management (budget), Vendor Management and Time Vouchering for the program. You will be responsible for these processes and supporting teams.
As the Senior Director, SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) PMO, you will:
Lead and own the entire portfolio and planning function including, building, maintaining and managing the multi-year program roadmap, top projects and 30-60-90 day plans
Lead the Program Governance Board meetings which serves as the executive status and governance forum for the program
Coordinate deliverables across all project teams and identify critical risks & dependencies that require CoE Management attention
Own the cross-program RAID (risks, action, issues and decision) method, tool and process including first level resolution of issues and visibility / escalations to the executive leadership team where appropriate.
Lead the program Intake process which is used for assessing and making recommendations pertaining to new project requests including assessment of the effort, evaluation of the benefits and impact to the program capacity and schedule
Lead and manage the demand & capacity process for the program which includes developing plans, estimates and resource models for initiatives within the SAP PMx (PowerMax) program including working with stakeholder groups within the COE to gather inputs and formulate a consistent and data-driven approach to planning, estimating and resource modeling
Own and lead the entire COE & P&L (Profit & Loss) budget including RTS (Readiness To Serve) & Program components with significant processes for quarter close, asset management, liquidations, pacing, Op planning, SII and blueprint that is a significant IT (Information Technology) budget which represents 10+ Executives on the program (C&B (Compensation & Benefits), Contracted Services, Assessments and T&L (Travel & Living))
Be the decision maker for spend and responsible for communication of PMx overall progress with regards to budget, projections, actuals and realized / unrealized benefits to the executive leadership team, FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) and Power HQ (Headquarters) / Digital
Execute all Vendor Management processes within the designated budget
Have responsibility for facilitating the vendor management strategy and needs, executing the RFP (Request For Proposal) process, QFD (Quality Function Deployment), SOW (Statement of Work) and PO (Purchase Order) process in partnership with the executive leaders and within the guidelines of Digital vendor management and sourcing requirements
Be responsible for onboarding and welcoming of all new employee resources to the program
Lead the PMO team
Be responsible for day-to-day task allocations, goal setting, performance evaluations
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management with expertise in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and agile methodologies

Demonstrated experience in deploying large scale ERP programs
Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
Experience managing budgets including budget, spend, and liquidations
Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes, lead manage and organize teams to attain shared goals
Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
Experience working with others on a global basis
Applies knowledge to coach and mentor others
