Role Summary: The Oil & Gas (O&G) Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a core source of leadership talent for GE. In this program, you will draw on your leadership skills, education, and previous experiences as a top-performing, junior military officer (JMO) to solve complex business problems, as well as develop and execute objectives for yourself and for others.
Essential Responsibilities: O&G JOLP is an industry leading, development program for Junior Officers transitioning from military service. JOLP is a 2-year program that provides you with broad business experience and exposure to the various core processes, teams and businesses that make up GE Oil & Gas. The program focuses on building operational leaders for supply chain management, manufacturing operations, sourcing, project management and engineering.
In the role of Junior Officer Leadership Program – JOLP you will:
Generally, perform three, 8-month rotations in different functions and/or business areas such as:
Material Planning and Management
Sales and Commercial Operations
In addition, as a part of the program, you will participate in curriculum based training components focusing on leadership, product and financial skills required to be a GE leader.
You will be expected to hit the ground running, take responsibility for and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to make a real impact on the organization. You will be expected to learn and adapt, to quickly gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment and add value in your assigned role.

Technical Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 4 years of commissioned service
Ability and willingness to relocate as needed
Deployment and combat leadership experiences
Exceptional military career as demonstrated through successful completion of leadership and key developmental assignments
Completion of elite military training (Flight, Nuke, Ranger, SEAL, SFQC, etc.)
Ability to solve problems, delegate and achieve difficult goals
Ability to adapt quickly and eager to learn and master new roles
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university
