Responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Model Based Enterprise (MBE) Products that aligns closely with our GE O&G Product Company partners digital productivity objectives as well as leading the team which will capture and communicate the voice of the customer, product requirements and functional specifications to our Product Development Team.
Defining the MBE Product Strategy including the short, mid and long term road maps which will transform GE O&G into a leading Industrial Digital Manufacturing Company over the next 5 years.
Defining our MBE Product Release Themes and the timing of a sequence of releases that support rapid deployment within our Product Company (PC) Production Customer sites while achieving consistent progress along our MBE Roadmap.
Seeking out the Voice of the Customer (the PC Customer) and will provide for regular forums where our customers can understand, interact with and identify important insights to our new MBE Releases, plus our mid and long term MBE Roadmaps.
Gathering and Prioritizing MBE Product Requirements from our Product Company Customers, Industry leaders and the competitive landscape.
Becoming MBE domain experts in all aspects of “wing to wing” MBE deployment. From Commercial, to Engineering, to Manufacturing to Supply Channel to Field Services.
Provide the domain knowledge during the Product Development cycles necessary to assure the customer critical capabilities are being addressed properly while simultaneously making gains within our MBE Roadmaps.
Developing and delivering expert MBE Deployment Services, Tutorials & Training. Ranging from 3D Model Based Definition (CAD+PMI generation) to PLM MBE Automation to MBE driven Manufacturing and Supplier Process deployment to connections to Field Assets and Field Services.
Maintaining a critical and real-time understanding of the “state of the MBE art” inside other GE lines of Business, within MBE Industry Leaders and within competing Industrial Internet and Industry 4.0 organizations and initiatives.
Interacting closely with our MBE Transformation Leaders at each Product Company, our MBE Product Development Teams and will have intimate knowledge of the success and issues preventing success at each MBE Production Deployment project within our Product Company customer base.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Research or similar technical degree
A minimum of 7 years of technical experience in Digital Engineering, Digital Manufacturing or Connected Supplier Management fields – CAD/PLM, MES/ERP or SCM technology stacks
Will have been 7 years’ experience with Digital Engineering, Digital Manufacturing or Connected Supplier Management fields such as is made possible through CAD/PLM, MES/ERP or SCM technology stacks.

Demonstrated 10+ years leading Product Management Teams which have developed and deployed state of the art Design, Manufacturing and Supply Channel software and services applications within the 3D CAD, 3D CAM, PLM, ERP or CRM software stacks.
Defined and lead Voice of the Customer brainstorming sessions to gather meaningful requirements that align with the Product Roadmap.
Key Influencer for their Software Product Companies being able to tell the compelling story of the Product Vision and its Value Proposition at from C-Level Executives to Company Visionaries to Production Level Pragmatists.
Will understand the nature of providing the Complete Product Definition and will understand and engage with necessary 3rd Party software and hardware providers to provide that Complete Product Definition
