Role Summary: The Global MR Product Manager is responsible for defining the overall strategy and development of the 1.5T products and services. Responsible for the clear definition of product features and benefits, clinical capabilities, technical roadmaps, financial planning and needed solutions for high-performance 1.5T in the global MRI market. Identifies and develops opportunities for growth and market share gain.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Establishes the vision, product roadmap and strategic plan for the 1.5T MR to meet the needs of the global MRI market, maximize value and GE’s share position within the market. 2. Accountable for the 1.5T product portfolio lifecycle, improving competitiveness, serviceability, and field quality, while reducing direct and indirect costs. 3. Develops deep understanding of customers’ clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought. Builds rapport with customers as required to ensure the “voice of the customer” is reflected in product decisions and to improve customer loyalty. 4. Prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities and develops business cases in conjunction with strategic marketing, regional product marketing, product leaders and the business finance team. 5. Leverage market research, clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization in developing global commercial strategy for a product segment/category/portfolio. 6. Works with a multi-functional team which could include clinical leaders, marketing, sales, operations, engineering, supply chain and services teams to generate new product proposals and offerings for the installed base of MR systems. 7. Responsible for New Product Introductions (NPI) including product definition, establishing cost targets, and ensuring quality metrics are achieved while meeting the NPI schedule within budget. 8. Collaborates with clinical and engineering leaders to develop product differentiation, defining product value propositions, collect evidence of value and creating FDA claims. Works with Marketing Communications on developing positioning/messaging, tools and collateral for NPIs. Works closely with regional marketing on internal training, external launch events/announcements and sales campaigns. 9. Drive operating mechanisms to ensure behavior consistent with integrity, quality systems, and EHS requirements
Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 2. Minimum 7 years experience in product marketing, product development, or related field 3. Strong technical and clinical understanding of MRI and its applications 4. Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy 5. Excellent oral and written communications skills 6. Strong analytical and finance skills 7. Must be willing to work in our Waukesha, WI facility full-time

Desired Characteristics: 1. Graduate degree in MR or related field 2. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 3. 10+ year’s experience in marketing, product marketing or related field 4. Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding 5. Healthcare product/industry acumen 6. Experience with digital analytics &/or healthcare informatics 7. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas 8.
