Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic & results-driven individual for the Human Resources Business Partner - Platforms & Operations role. This is an outstanding & unique opportunity to define & develop a new business model. The role will design & shape an entrepreneurial working environment, high-impact team & organizational structure that will enable ONE Current to serve as the digital engine for intelligent environments to drive outcomes for our customers.
This HRBP will work to grow and thrive, and more broadly, will help create a holistic, scalable energy-as-a-service offering in partnership with our software business.
This role is critical in developing and executing HR strategy providing guidance in the areas of culture & change management, strategic coaching, talent assessment & development, succession planning and performance development.
In addition you will :
Partner with the General Manager, Global Supply Chain and LED Platform Leader (Product Management and Engineering) to refine our global hardware technology and product management business model and the combination and connection with Software capabilities
Establish a contemporary organizational culture, manage transitions, infuse experienced talent into the new space for an operational excellence and Brilliant factory progression
Bring in contemporary practices & assist the HR team & Current leadership to drive laser focus on HR Priorities & simplify structure, in a collaborative, agile, risk taking, fast decision-making culture where employees feel valued & excited about the opportunities the new business can offer
Develop & execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support & enable One Current Business and how we are mobilizing our future
Foster One culture and teams focused on customer outcomes, agility and innovation
Act as an organizational champion and culture shaper to build customer-focused organizational capabilities & partner with clients to maximize team performance
Leverage change acceleration & FastWorks techniques for broad impact and serve as a model for the wider business
Collaborate across GE businesses, cross-region & cross-function to drive a high-performance team environment, accelerate business growth and the creation of One Current
Provide timely, effective and direct coaching to client group people leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills
Provide strategic coaching to key talent in extended client group as it pertains to career path development and performance management
Own the new hire integration plan & execution to ensure successful onboarding & to accelerate the learning & assimilation into the business
Collaborate w / C&B team to create a compelling compensation strategy to attract and motivate top talent
Leverage crowdsourcing capabilities to establish an extended virtual workforce
Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths & development needs in order to recognize, select, retain & develop key talent
Lead succession planning & talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles & preparing potential talent & pipeline mentoring, training, etc.
Strategically lead client group through critical HR operating rhythms such as people reviews, culture compass, salary planning, succession planning & performance development
Apply workforce planning principles & tools to define global resource allocation & consolidation needs as well as assist the business to determine future talent needs & proactively resource
Research & leverage best practices across GE & in external businesses to create an entrepreneurial spirit & cohesive business unit
Lead a team of cross-functional HR Leaders globally
Provide overall leadership to the HR team, deliver appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities, and communicate proactively
Drive Diversity and Inclusion Strategies applying a special focus on Balance the Equation
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Industrial / Organizational Psychology or related field from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of increasing HR generalist and HR manager responsibility

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Industrial / Organizational Psychology or related field from an accredited university or college
Ability to support clients in multiple global locations
In-depth understanding of HR concepts and principles gained through formal education and substantial work experience
Experience with operations, supply chain, hardware technology organizational development
Proven experience building and transforming an organization and culture
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface with business and function leaders in a global matrix organization
Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a collaborative manner
Ability to energize and inspire others to commit to and take action on business priorities, especially when driving change
Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills
Proven project management and team leadership experience
Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders
Developed (oral and written) communication and diplomacy skills set with the ability to influence others by presenting sound and logical arguments tailored to the audience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations; make judgments based on practice or previous experience
Coaching and leadership assessment experience
Approachable and responsive resource; ability to connect with employees at all levels
Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive / diverse workforce
Capability of handling multiple issues and / or projects simultaneously and executing to completion
