Role Summary:
As the Project Quality Manager you will review and capture contractual quality requirements during negotiation in ITO and ensure that contractual requirements are met in OTR (Order to Remittance). You will be the quality focal point for the Customer Partner and the commercial or project team.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Project Quality Manager, you will:

• Interface with commercial teams in ITO and Project teams in OTR including consortium partners
• Analyze request for quote and negotiate requirements with Customer and GE functions
• Review the quality requirements of the customer specifications and highlight deviations to GE standards conditions of the contract
• Establish contractual quality plans in ITO and OTR
• Implement project specific quality plans and other project specific documents, submit for approval and transfer to customers according contractual requirements
• Implement all other planned quality assurance and quality control activities
• Lead on a cross functional point of view Project Quality Plan execution
• Attend and manage customers’ witness inspections at GE’s factories or sub-contractors’ factories when required
• If required, properly train, instruct and/or control vendors or sub-contractors quality plan / program and personnel for the success of the project
• Act as NCR handler for the NCR (Non Conformance Report) resolution process between erection site, GE factories or sub-contractors’ factories and the engineering department
• Issue customer satisfaction surveys at defined project milestones
• Investigate and solve customer complains concerning quality issues
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions based on the sufficient root cause analysis (RCA)
• Lead & coordinate RCA investigation with correspondent product organization
• Ensure timeliness of contractual deliverables
• Issue & review project lessons learned with the project team
• Contribute to maintain and improve the Project Quality QMS standards per business structure
• Support project organization metrics reporting and data analysis across Americas Projects
• Have basic understanding of TRS (Technical Regulations and Standards) requirements and impact to contractual deliverables and schedule

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university (OR Associate's Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum 4 years of power generation experience)
• Preferred Black Belt / Lean certification

Desired Characteristics:
• Willingness to travel 15% of the time
