Role Summary:
In this role, you will :



Essential Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support via remote phone / email to Daintree’s partners and end customers on technical issues related to the installation, commissioning and ongoing operation of ControlScope
  • Become an expert with ControlScope - Daintree’s wireless building control solution and other Daintree devices
  • Assist with management of Daintree server and modem fleet
  • Initiate, document, track, manage and resolve support cases in a timely and efficient manner
  • Contribute to knowledge base
  • Provide occasional on-site assistance with the installation and commissioning or troubleshooting of ControlScope
  • Role may involve travel within the United States
  • Assist with monthly trainings for new partners on the installation and commissioning of ControlScope
  • Assist Daintree’s Solution Engineers with implementation of innovative building control demonstration projects
  • Work with Engineering, Commissioning Team and Management to identify opportunities to enhance ControlScope to make it easier and simpler to install and commission
  • Dependable and capable of working predetermined support shift weekdays and possibly work on-call during the weekends on a rotating schedule
  • Perform any other duties necessary within the support team role

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (Or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in networking, troubleshooting skills and / or software applications)
  • General troubleshooting skills in Linux at the command line, networking, software applications and MS Windows
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team-based environment

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :


  • Ability to work at a screen and keyboard for extended periods
  • Capability of working predetermined support shift weekdays
  • Ability and willingness to possibly work on-call during the weekends on a rotating schedule
  • Role may involve travel within the United States

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor Degree in a technical field (STEM) from an accredited university or college
  • Understanding and experience with SSH, SFTP, SCP, Remote Desktop applications, Sales Force and JIRA
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with ISO Networking Layers, modems, switches, routers and firewalls
  • Familiarity with lighting, HVAC and building control systems is a plus
  • Professional demeanor with effective written and verbal communication skills in a clear and articulate manner while providing support via the customer support hotline and email
  • A strong work ethic, and an earnest willingness to learn
  • Ability finding undocumented solutions
  • Self-motivated desire to advance
  • Flexibility and the expertise to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Great people skills, a sense of humor, and social competency
