European Cardiovascular Marketing Leader (m/f)

Role Summary:
Define and execute a Marketing plan for the Cardiovascular segment in Europe and RCIS, ensuring alignment to the priorities defined by both the European Ultrasound Marketing Director and the European Ultrasound Cardiovascular Segment Leader.

Essential Responsibilities:
1) Downstream activities
  • Drive New Product Introductions (NPIs) including portfolio readiness assessment (pricing, content, channel, regulatory, service…), launch activities and overall lifecycle management;
  • Drive the setup of alternative distribution models where applicable like eCommerce or telesales where applicable;
  • Select, attend and organize regional events;
  • Define and execute regional communication plans;
  • Drive brand building strategies as well as agency advertisement and promotional programs;
  • Support global head quarter-sponsored activities: customer conferences, annual kickoffs, tradeshows and others;
  • Ensure the distribution network is supported with the right sales tools and training;
2) Upstream activities
  • Identify industry trends, market insights and customer needs and feed them to the make centers for portfolio management and roadmap development;
  • Conduct competitive analysis at product, portfolio and company levels;
  • Monitor trends in social media and other digital channels;
3) Demand generation
  • Define and execute the digital Marketing plan for the segment, including multi-channel demand generation, content plan and conversion strategies;
  • Work with professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select KOL’s for thought leadership and awareness building. Supports development of regional KOL’s in collaboration with Regional Product Marketing;
  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues where appropriate;

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or alike;
• Marketing expertise in NPIs, insights gathering and demand generation;
• Solid knowledge on digital Marketing: traffic generation, content strategies and conversion strategies;
• Good understanding in marketing automation tools: Marketo, SFDC, Adobe creative suite or similar;
• Experience in the Cardiovascular industry, including KOL network;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Strong execution capabilities, hands-on attitude, doer;
• Ability to work for multiple stake holders and in a cross-functional multi-dimensional matrix environment;
• Excellent oral and written communications skills in English;
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet multiple deadlines and work under pressure;

Desired Characteristics:
• Experience in Ultrasound;
