Role Summary: This position is responsible for designing entire product or solution architecture, visualizing upstream dependencies across multiple versions, resolving scalability and performance issues and overall positioning of the product with reference to market and competition. This role is a strategist who can evangelize and plot the product roadmap for coming years. You will be driving the design and development efforts in alignment with the product roadmap for one or more product families.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will:
Leads overall technical architecture and design, ensure scalability, reliability, and serviceability of the entire product line, and drives best implementation practices
Be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development tools and infrastructure
Develops lasting, innovative architecture that satisfies business and customer requirements, and aligns with the long-term plan for the product/service
Drives new ways of thinking, across groups within the team, to improve quality, engineering productivity and responsiveness to feed backs and changing priorities
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with Engineering leaders, Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Managers
Leads impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design /architectural considerations and implementation strategy.
Expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting tasks
Produces simple, elegant code, and resolves the most difficult problems in the product
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines.

Deep Understanding of scalable distributed systems, software architecture, data structure and algorithms
Proven records of building large enterprise software with high availability and resiliency
Hands on working experience with Platform as Service (PaaS) and Cloud based infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and Java coding Principles
Hands on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, OAuth, etc) using Apache Common Suite & Maven, SQL and noSQL databases
Hands on experience in utilizing Spring core framework
Experience in security and cyber technology
Working experience building large ecosystem and extensible architecture to enable partners and 3rd party vendors
Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise scale software development
Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment
Team leadership experience (mentoring, code reviews, and best practices) and working with cross functional teams
Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Demonstrates advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Black belt certified). Guides new teams to adopt Agile, troubleshoots adoption efforts, and guide continuous improvement.
