The Senior Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and deploying measurable, creative, integrated and effective internal employee communication programs to drive a successful transformation of the IT function across GE. In addition, the leader will help drive a strategic communications strategy across the CoreTech organization including the development of GE-wide campaigns to drive awareness for and adoption of digital workplace solutions.
The leader will work closely with the executive team and HR leaders to best serve employee needs and ensure alignment of critical messages and initiatives. As part of the GE Digital team, this role will develop and execute of a wide variety of communications projects that support the strategic and operating goals of the DT function across the globe.
Lead, develop and execute a strategic, global internal communication to support horizontal alignment of IT function and transformation to Digital Technology, including global CoreTech organization.
Conceptualize, craft, and distribute thoughtful and effective messages. Collaborate with integration team to develop messaging narrative and structured framework to proactively communicate to the function
Prepare, integrate and implement communication plans for key digital workplace solutions across GE in partnership with GED and Corporate culture communications team.
Work in concert with DT Communications Leader to provide communications counsel and support to DT leadership team.
Develop and leverage innovative communication channels, ensuring ease of access, clarity and consistency of messages using various platforms.
Own and develop content for internal communications channels including success stories, collateral, news and announcements.
Manage continuous measurement by measuring audience impact related to awareness, understanding, acceptance and action, and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop strong understanding of CoreTech organization and effectively communicate strategy for both the team to drive an engaged culture.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
