Role Summary:
General Manager U/S (Ultrasound) Japan will be responsible for full business P&L including General Imaging, Cardio Vascular, Women’s Health, Point of Care, Primary Care, Breast Imaging portfolio of products. As a Business Leader, the GM U/S will focus on Growing business, Strategy development, Product management, Channel management, Key account/KOL management, Creating new market/new applications, and team management/talent development.

Essential Responsibilities:
The GM, U/S will be responsible for:

• Delivering U/S operational plan (orders, sales, contribution margin, operating margin, and market share)
• Lead sales, marketing, applications specialists, service sales and back office teams responsible for the U/S portfolio
• Design, drive and lead indirect distribution channel as key component of U/S Go-To-Market strategy
• Ensuring order quality and linearity improvements, and ensuring improved engagement/collaboration with ITO & OTR
• Manage inventory levels to minimize carrying cost and optimize customer delivery
• Collaborate with Services team to drive service capture rate for U/S products and improve customer satisfaction
• Managing and nurturing relations with KOLs, Customer CXO level executives, government and administration representatives, and professional societies to deepen understanding of customer challenges and needs
• Acting as a strategic customer point of contact in the U/S and represent One GEHC in multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events
• Analyzing market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities and value proposition
• Align and allocate resources to territories to support GTM strategy
• Ensuring compliance and execution of the U/S sales process
• Coaching and educating all team members on effective sales process, account management and have the required product/clinical knowledge and industry domain experience

Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic/commercial selling, and/or product management and/or in consultative sales
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
• Keen understanding of every attribute of a business P&L
• Outcome oriented and Can-do attitude
• Fluent Japanese and Business Level English
• Willingness to travel

• Prefer Healthcare commercial experience
• Business Leader and team management experience
• Proven executive (CXO) relationship building skills in a healthcare environment
• Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
• Change management experience, Leading cross-functional project experience
