Role Summary:
To execute assigned tasks to achieve the OP. To analyze customer’s specifications, define a bid strategy in conjunction with the tendering Manager/Sales; prepare the technical & commercial documents and follow-up the proposal until conclusion. Objective of the position is to prepare on time quality offers and follow-up successfully until Order received and proper handing over to operation dept.

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Describe the resources and key responsibilities the person will be accountable for (such as scope of job; number of people; budget; turnover; project value; etc.)

Tendering Engineer will be responsible to prepare and handling tenders and all enquiries, RFQ received from various customers in MENAT region for SYS, PRO & SUP Business, strictly follow & respect the tendering process, including but not limited to: Registering Opportunity in DSTT, updating the data on this tool; preparing and updating management approval tools & processes ( BUS TAM,). To ensure all approvals should be made in time according to approval DOA.

Take special precaution in preparing quality offers, through clear presentation, accurate point-to-point comments and alternative proposals. Use appropriate tools (SPEAK, BUSTAM).
Tender to be submitted within the due date and in full accordance to customers’ technical requirements.

Pro-actively ensure that tenders are received by customers and follow-up to satisfy customer’s questions. Participate in negotiations and be the project leader until the tender is successfully turned into a contract.

TE will be reporting to tendering manager, shall be account to reach annual target of orders for System, Products and Support in region.

Tender process : strictly follow & respect the tendering process, including but not limited to: registering the project on the appropriate tool (TPM,…); updating the data on this tool; preparing and updating management approval tools & processes (TPM, BUS TAM,…).

Support operations to clarify contracts during the execution of the contract until full and satisfactory execution.

Desired Characteristics:
Educational Requirements

Describe the minimum educational requirement/level
B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power, Machines or Communication) or relevant from reputable university.
French & English language (Understanding, reading and fluent in writing) is a must.
Self-motivated, self learning, autonomous, rigorous.
Hard working, Team player, ability to work under pressure, Ability to work after office time when job requires.

IS / MS office applications (Word – Excel – Power point)

Good oral / written communication skills & good presentation skills.
Negotiation Skills

Have a basic knowledge on Power systems, protection system, H/V substations and Network Control.

Experience

Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role
Min 4-5 years’ relevant experience in Engineering, Sales or Tendering of Systems as protection relays, protection and control systems, R&C panels, MV /HV switchgear, Automation / SCADA Systems.
Have an experience in electrical power systems specialized in Transmission and distribution, Substation Automation systems, Automation Systems & Products, protection relays.

Knowledge of High voltage / medium voltage business switchgear is advantage.

Knowledge of the basics of protection relays and technical knowledge about various applications of protection relays, Circuit breakers is must.
Relevant experience and interaction with multicultural in Multinational (MNC) Firm within GCC/Menat Region

Implement strong and efficient Sales and Tendering processes in the region.
Operational (including Functional), Managerial and Leadership Know How
