Role Summary:
The Plant Operations Specialist will use cutting edge predictive analytics software and tools to analyze the health and performance of power generation assets.
You will leverage industry experience, power generation knowledge, software know-how, and customer satisfaction skills to deliver plant and organization improvement plans using world class predictive analytics and monitoring solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Quickly learn and understand engineering processes related to power generation.
• Quickly master cutting edge predictive analytics software and tools.
• Deftly manage customer expectations and satisfaction for customer.
• Deliver savings to your customer in the form of improved reliability and efficiency

Technical Expertise:
• Instructs others on how to thoroughly analyze data and present findings and recommendations in a way that is easy and simple for key stakeholders to make decisions; links analysis to overall business objectives and strategies.
• Can instruct others on processes and procedures. Advises the customer on most favorable outcome, anticipates potential issues to proactively circumvent issues. Adapts to exceptions and develops new procedures and workarounds for others to use. Resolves issues pertaining to scope, schedule and budget, or drive change management. Defines quality requirements.
• Modifies processes to simplify.
• Has demonstrable expertise and understanding of multiple plant designs. Leads team in solution design. Knows best practices which result in higher adoption of solutions based on product capabilities. Ability to communicate solution capabilities internally and in customer facing situations. Understands local challenges and develops mitigation strategies for functionality gaps.
• Demonstrates ability to diagnose and solve basic to intermediate issues; Able to isolate moderately complex scenarios down to actionable items within designated job function; Can be utilized to problem solving at customer sites as the GE representative.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineeringfrom an accredited college or university
• 10 or more years in power generation industry, including coal plant operation and maintenance
• Prior experience working with customers who are adopting new software to run their operations
• Prior experience working with organizational change management initiatives
• Software oriented with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience with multiple Power Generation OEM technologies
• Experience with multiple aspects of the energy value chain.

Desired Characteristics:
• Industry background in plant control systems
• Strong computer skills with analytic and presentation tools
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic vision and execute strategic plans
• Strong project management skills and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• 10 years in plant/fleet operations, plant system design, and/or fleet support roles
• Ability to travel 50% of the time
• Fluent in Bahasa and English language
