Role Summary:
This role will manage the North America Subsea commercial team to provide formal responses to multiple Bid and Flow opportunities. It will be heavily involved in preparation of proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Subsea Systems Commercial Leader – North America, you will:

  • Support proposal evaluation and bid development for the Subsea Production Systems and Wellstream product companies
  • Be responsible for Subsea Bid Review meeting scheduling and actions
  • Identify and develop process improvements for bid cycle time and document quality
  • Schedule and chair all internal meetings related to bids including kick-off meetings, commercial reviews, technical reviews, finance reviews, and safety reviews
  • Coordinate communications between commercial team and customers throughout bidding process
  • Identify and assign commercial support resources to support Tender Managers on EPC Opportunities
  • Compile and evaluate costs, pricing, commercial and technical risks
  • Obtain guidance and approvals for all deviations to product company standard offerings
  • Create required documentation to secure L level management approvals for commercial proposals
  • Confirm engineering and manufacturing capacities and schedules to support execution of potential orders
  • Own all processes from opportunity identification to delivery of bids to customers
  • Prepare order handover package to project management, engineering, and manufacturing teams

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the O&G Subsea industry in a commercial leader role

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Technical knowledge of GE and competitive subsea products
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - experience leading or participating on a commercial opportunity team
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Understanding of Full Cost Models and financial reporting
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
