Role Summary: This position works with the business & functional leadership teams to deliver innovative, market leading, cloud based solutions for GE's diagnostic cardiology business. The Program delivers products & solutions by leading a virtual cross functional team, by defining & prioritizing program objectives, critical success factors, and clear deliverables. The Program manager motivates the team, drives a sense of urgency and is ultimately responsible for meeting the program goals.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Driving effective communication across businesses and functions 2. Driving product planning and multi-generational product/platform roadmap execution 3. Working with the Business Team and program leadership team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features 4. Cross-functional project execution leadership including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, clinical and pilot trials, and product delivery 5. Working closely with Product Definition team to drive product direction 6. Working with customers to solicit product feedback and leading cross-functional teams to drive customer support
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science/Information Technology discipline and 4 years of Project Management experience or equivalent 2. Program management experience developing new products for the information technology market 3. Exposure to cloud technologies and digital business operations 4. Demonstrated entrepreneurial and risk taking mindset 5. Proven track record of meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, product cost, and budget CTQ’s. 6. Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt and thrive in a matrixed, dynamic, fast paced environment.
Desired Characteristics: 1. Knowledge of information technology, including cloud-based systems, IT security requirements, use case development, database management and DevOps 2. Familiarity with developing new products in a regulated environment, ideally the medical device market 3. Exposure to medical device regulations (FDA/CE) 4. MS in Engineering or Information Technology, or MBA 5. Global experience working with partners, commercial operations and development teams outside of the United States 6. Knowledge of software development tools, methodologies, and metrics 7. Experience with application of lean startup concepts and methodologies to product development 8. Experience in establishing customer and vendor partnerships to support product implementation and customization
