Role Summary: The Motor Winder A performs miscellaneous operations involving dismantling, rewinding, repairing, reassembling, testing, etc. on large or more complex AC and DC equipment such as motors, generators, turbine generator stator and fields, rotary converters.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Motor Winder A, you will:
Disassemble large commutators and collector rings assembly’s for repair
Be responsible for on-site rewinding
Dismantles, assembles, diagnostics and troubleshoots all types of rotating equipment
Comply with all GE EHS and Quality requirements
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 5 years of winding experience
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time and complete overnight stays
Ability and willingness to work nights, as required
Ability and willingness to travel internationally outside of job sites
