Role Summary: The Switchgear Repair will perform Switchgear and control work of a simple nature both inside and outside the shop, including repair of old equipment, and the assembly of new equipment.

Perform other related duties as assigned
Trade School (OR High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing)
Willingness and ability to travel and complete overnight stays
Ability and willingness to read and interpret electrical drawings
Ability and willingness to attend and pass Switchgear 1 class within 6 months of start date
Ability and willingness to work various shifts, holidays and weekends as needed
Experience doing field and test work
Self-starter able to work with minimal direction
Willingly accepts job challenges
Ability to work overtime
Experience with Health and Safety programs
Communication with customer personnel
Good mechanical skills
