Essential Responsibilities: Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks; and deliver while mentoring and helping team members. Make technology choices at individual level and analyze impact. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process. Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project. Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Qualifications/Requirements: The primary requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and three (3) years of experience in a related occupation. The position also requires some experience working on large scale software projects and managing large code bases; some experience developing algorithms for large scale enterprise customer workflows; some experience debugging code issues in both test labs as well as in production SAAS environments; and some experience with internet scale testing and automate key workflows for validating products prior to release.
