Role Summary: You will provide domain leadership for the product team setting the global strategy and roadmap for increased product satisfaction, market share and revenue growth in the equipment health/reliability management space for upstream oil & gas. You will work across functions ensuring organizational readiness to develop, configure, market, sell and deploy software technology and associated petrotechnical services in the presence of evolving competitive landscape and industry conditions
Gather and prioritize business requirements from external (clients) and internal (GE product companies) and configure Meridium to suit internal and external needs.
Continuously monitor competitive landscape and identify opportunities to develop, partner with or acquire companies/technologies that will accelerate GE’s market share
Develop business cases to justify planned developments for presentation to management that will also facilitate value based selling and customer case studies
Work with Development to define/refine product requirements required to exceed customer expectations and outpace the competition in the workflows that matter to clients under current and future industry conditions in context of other upstream workflows
Work with Marketing to refine external and internal messaging around the product accentuating its strengths in the market relative to competition and refine pricing model as the product and associated service offering evolves
Work with Commercial Operations (Sales) to refine the written RFI/RFP/proposal process assuring accuracy of proposals prior to submitting to customers
Work with Sales to match competitive strength to client profiles to grow revenues of software and associated petrotechnical services
Technical presentations with an emphasis on value to clients and develop/deliver industry white papers and conference presentations
Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management
Evaluate high-risk projects raised by Commercial teams and raise to Management for discussion and approval prior to quotation especially where specific development will be required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Petroleum Engineering or similar
5 years subject matter expertise in EOR flood management domain and software in an operator or consulting organization optimizing waterflood and WAG flood operations
Willingness and ability to travel 33% of the time

Software product management experience
Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
