Role Summary: As a Staff Technical Product Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products. Routinely collaborate with UX Design team to share customer needs, behaviors and elaborate on personas. Work with research team to validate concepts and drive value to customers. Collaborates with Product Managers for the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities: Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that release iteration sprints backlog are always ready. Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to decompose features into consumable user stories.
Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions. Collaborates with Product Managers/TPMs to translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units. Partners with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process. Applies Agile Methodology.
In this role, you will:
Work with Product Managers to translate the long term strategy & roadmap into actionable features
Support Definition and evolve the software design to support the long term product roadmap
Oversee execution, integration and deployment of end user features in conjunction with technical architecture and non-functional requirements
Work with multiple stakeholders (internal & external) to define the overall scope of their work and meet the Quality metrics needed to monitor the performance of the ongoing work
Define the nonfunctional requirements associated with the systems working closely with technical leadership
Act as the Agile product owner for ongoing development sprints prioritizing features to be developed based on technical competency and end user value metrics
Work directly with defined end users to align prioritized features for Agile development
Communicate business objectives and priorities for near term and long term to technical execution teams by leveraging technical experience
Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Development for industrial solutions

Must be willing to travel roughly 25% of the time.

Agile & SCRUM development experience
Demonstrated program management and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle
Demonstrates ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
Experience in development and/or product definition of industrial solutions within asset management domain, process optimization, or analytical applications
Demonstrated ability to work with architects and product mangers to support development of system architecture to support functional roadmap
Knowledgeable of relevant software and web standards such as HTML5, SAS70, H.264, etc.
Demonstrated experience of Agile software development of customer facing industrial applications
Demonstrated experience leading virtual development teams with ability to prioritize respective work scopes to meet customer facing contract requirements
Demonstrated development of large-scale, web-based solutions involving multiple systems and demonstrated experience in Strategy definition, System & Solution Design, Estimation, Development across various stake holders, System Integration, Acceptance, Deployment, Operations & Monitoring.
Developed cloud based solutions and/or SAAS offerings
Demonstrated experience in visualization frameworks for industrial solutions, such as Slim PHP, D3, VEGA, etc.
Experience with O&G industry and applications with focus on Offshore operations.
Experience in process engineering and optimization, reliability management, integrity and compliance is a plus.
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions

Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
