Role Summary:
The Environmental, Health and Safety Intern provides support and assistance to work group to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:
Incident Investigations; identify corrective actions, follow up and validate implemented corrective actions.
Job Safety Assessments, including ergonomic evaluations; recommend workstation changes, engineering controls, administrative controls, and/or personal protective equipment.
Report Preparation; including development of charts and graphs, to determine trends and needs. Update various EHS boards per company standard.
Demonstrates safe work practices and coach others in safe behaviors; conducts behavioral base safety observations.
Gap Assessments; participate in shop floor and/or document audits for safety and environmental compliance with federal, state and company regulations and policies, follow up with appropriate departmental supervisors.
Participates in company emergency response team, Employee Safety Committee, and various EHS improvement projects.

Undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) 5th to 7th Semester of engineering bachelor degree or similar.
Fluent English

Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges.
Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal and leadership skills.
Digital mindset with strong ability to learn and navigate systems.
