Role Summary:
The position offers the individual the opportunity work in the customer’s office enabling a deep understanding of our customer operations. Working without direct support, the engineer provides daily input to the customer and GE on equipment optimization, design and selection of GE equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Senior Sales Manager - Technical Sales you will:

  • Develop designs and equipment selection for individual wells utilizing in house sizing software. Review current product offering and make modifications (based on chemistry and mechanical components limits) to have the product in compliance with the customer requirements
  • Evaluate and identify new sales opportunities through services or product offerings. Monitors daily all aspects of the artificial lift equipment operation
  • Review well production utilizing Field Vantage (or customers in house scada) versus pump capabilities to optimize production. Enhance runlife by Diagnosing problems and recommends appropriate solutions to field service and the customer for surface problems including electrical problems, sand production, gas-locking pumps and insufficient fluid production
  • Manage through direct discussion with Reliability Engineering and the customer in determining Root Cause Failure Analysis of equipment
  • Publish daily and monthly KPI’s, including installs, run life and /or performance and failure per well per year graphs. Reports on weekly, failures and reason for failure. Provides other reports as required by customer
  • Develop equipment proposals, interface with customer service, field service and manufacturing and other functional groups as required Establishes operating parameters and defines set points for proper operation of equipment

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with minimum 7 years of experience in Sales)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales
