Role Summary:
GE Digital’s Global Channels, Business Development, and Alliances has an exciting opportunity in program strategy, development, and communications. If you are program and experience designer, communicator, talented project manager, and leader with experience in the software industry with a passion to succeed in a $1B startup business, this is the opportunity for you!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with members of the Global Channels & Alliances team, create and execute a strategic plan for innovative, industry-leading partner programs across GE Digital’s ecosystem of alliances, partners, early adopters and ventures
  • This role is responsible for all touch points of the partner journey – from discovery, application, onboarding, relationship building, and customer success
  • Responsible for developing the brand, look & feel of the GE Digital Alliance Program and communicating the program through all available channels: digital (web), content & collateral, executive social handle, video, campaigns, customer success, events (GED, C&A-owned, partner, and third party)
  • Designs and delivers the Alliance Program’s partner events (non-Marketing) – Global Summits, Partner Days at GE Events (M+M etc), Partner Activations, special events such as CDO Forum
  • For GE Digital Marketing events (M+M and similar), ensures partner participation through sponsorship and attendance, serving as the facilitator and program lead between Marketing and Channels Alliances
  • Designs and delivers all program communications – external and internal newsletters, sales etc content delivered to partners through the Portal, program collateral, events collateral, executive comms and all hands, and more
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in Marketing, Communications, Events, training, support, etc. to ensure consistent, impactful partner experience touch points across all channels, moments, and materials
  • Collaborate closely with Partner Enablement team to develop and distribute original sales enablement materials and adapt Direct Sales materials for Partner use
  • Collaborate closely with GED marketing to secure joint marketing opportunities and participate in execution and delivery as needed. (For joint marketing opportunities that are not connected with direct demand gen and lead nurturing, Partner Experience may take “first chair” – as determined in collaboration with Marketing team
  • Working with a cross-functional team, develop, maintain, and evolve central partner portal with entry points across GE and GE Digital web ecosystem to support all functions of partner program (training & certification, joint selling, support, community, etc.)
  • Identify and evolve opportunities by collaborating directly with marketing colleagues in partner organizations, determine mutually beneficial budget commitments, design tracking and metrics to gauge program success
  • Work with colleagues in GE Digital product marketing, sales enablement, commercial marketing, and communications, as well as Corporate Marketing and Communications, to ensure that program content and communications are on message and deliver valuable assets to advance commercial and marketing efforts
  • Design and execute amplification programs across GE Digital and partner communication channels to ensure that partner program offerings reach the right audience at the right time – and with maximum impact
  • Work with leads in Industrial Internet consortia and similar organizations to identify and leverage opportunities for GE Digital
  • Ensure partner program elements, offerings, deliverables are keyed to GE Digital/partner events, regional and local initiatives and commercial/marketing needs


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or related field. Master’s Degree preferred
    • Proven ability to develop high-impact, multi-level communications/content/experience programs and assets
    • Proven ability to work across all communications channels (web, social, events, email campaigns, webinars, sales enablement, etc.) and execute creatively within the full mix of rich media (video, web, blogs, white papers and collateral, advertising, programs, etc.)
    • Exceptional track record of working with partners to jointly grow business while delivering customer value
    • Requires high energy, assertiveness, and self -motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction

      Desired Characteristics:

      • Knowledge of Industrial Internet, IoT, and digital industrial market place
      • Knowledge of technology industry channels and partner sales
      • Success working with GE partners in joint projects
      • Exceptional creative direction, editorial, and content generation skills
      • Strong professional presence and ability to influence cross-functionally and globally
