Role Summary: Executes the requisitions, cycle counting, inventory discrepancies, scrapped or rejected parts, MR’s and ECR’s for material used in assembly/manufacturing of the product.
Essential Responsibilities: Key responsibilities/essential functions include: • Maintain inventory objectives • Resolve material shortages/overages through cycle counting and physical inventory • Utilize Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) system to accurately move inventory and finished goods • Approve Material Requisitions (MR) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR) • Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments • Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to supervisor • Scrap and reject parts • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concession, Non-Conforming Material, Material Identification & Segregation, Documentation Configuration Control, Good Documentation Practices, Approved Supplier/Sourcing & DMR/DHR requirements as associated with this job type/position. 2. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 3. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 4. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Required Qualifications: • High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent • Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain • Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language • Proficient in basic mathematics • Ability to communicate well and work with others • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired Characteristics: • Knowledge of computerized material flow methods • Knowledge of quality and inventory control • Knowledge of root cause analysis methods • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks
