Role Summary: Responsible for translating the FPSO vision into executable product strategy. This role will focus on developing the roadmap for the equipment, process and business analytics that will deliver value to customers and differentiate GE into the marketplace. You will be driving the product roadmap. You will be managing the different industrial partnerships that are needed to complete the product. You will closely interact with the broader O&G Digital Team, Product Companies and commercial team.
In this role, you will:
Work with the domain experts to identify customer needs and capabilities required by the product to fulfill needs
Lead definition and evolve apps and analytics specification to support the long-term product vision
Identify external parties, like EPC, process owners, system integrators that will contribute to complete the product
Drive organic vs inorganic strategy on product development
Managed new and existing partners to define collaboration model and have discussion on IP sharing, commercial models
Ensure development of products is managed on time, on budget and in line with customer needs
Work with Development Team to translate the Business vision into executable strategy & roadmap
Support the commercial team to sell the product and responsible to catch loopbacks form the customer success/commercial team to readjust product specs
Oversee execution of the apps and analytics functional strategy, integration and deployment of end user features in conjunction with engineering teams and non-functional requirements
Work with multiple stakeholders (internal & external) to define the overall scope of their work and define the Quality metrics needed to monitor the performance of the ongoing work
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM / Engineering (Mathematics / Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical / Computer Science or Information Technology)
Minimum 10 years of experience in equipment and/or plant engineering roles

Must be willing to work out of an office preferably located in Houston (USA)
Analytics development experience
Basic understanding of Agile development techniques
FPSO expertise either in operation, design or construction
Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mathematics / Mechanical or Computer Science)
Understanding of Agile software development of customer facing industrial applications
Strong domain knowledge in equipment and process engineering (preferably within FPSO space) data management, data analysis and advanced analytics across heterogeneous data sets
In-depth knowledge of the technology and vendor landscape for Big Data Management & Analytics
Experience with analytics development for industrial applications in a commercial/industrial setting
Hands-on experience in equipment/plant design
Hands on experience in maintenance engineering and service activities
Demonstrated expertise in translating customer need into data and analytics requirements
Experience with scalable differentiated algorithms from heterogeneous data such as time series data from sensors, physics models, weather data, text, images etc.
Demonstrated ability to work with senior technology leadership to support development of apps and analytics to support functional roadmap
Demonstrated experience leading virtual/non hierarchic teams with ability to prioritize respective work scopes to meet customer facing contract requirements
Demonstrated experience in Strategy definition, System & Solution Design, Estimation, Development across various stake holders, System Integration, Acceptance, Deployment, Operations & Monitoring
Demonstrated program management and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
Proven track record of delivering results and leading teams in dynamic global environment
