Essential Responsibilities:

  • As the premier product expert, support ITO and Sales with detailed technical responses to questions in RFPs
  • Answering technical product questions during sales process
  • Ensure sales team is up to date on current supported technical product specifications
  • Provide detailed technical responses to analyst surveys
  • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management on an on-going basis to stay current
  • Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Services to create solution reference architectures for technical sales and services enablement
  • Collaborate with customers, prospects, and Sales to understand and document business requirements for demos in highly intense competitive situations.
  • Create demos to highlight the key values of the solutions to help market penetration of new features and technologies. Create product demonstration VM images for sales, training and marketing purposes.
  • Select and modify appropriate pre-built demo for customer scenarios, including solves by market vertical (i.e. Water, Power, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Automotive, Heavy Industry Manufacturing)
  • Document business requirements and technical specifications for software demo
  • Act as subject matter expert, guiding technical team around demo execution
  • Demonstrate and explain pre-built demo scenarios to customers and prospects effectively communicating to engineers, sales team and customers including CIOs, CXO with the flexibility to adapt discussion based on audience and personalities.
  • Support marketing outreach programs to customers and prospects, including product demonstration videos
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop and deliver training on business problems, products, and messages for successful customer and channel engagements

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 additional years of experience in a commercial or product marketing role
    • At least 2 years hands on experience with Automation solutions
    • At least 2 years with HMI/SCADA technologies and standards

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40% of the time
